Practical CMM programming training focused on correct measurement strategies and proper application of standards, independent of brand or software.
An advanced CMM programming strategies training program is delivered for basic and intermediate-level programmers seeking to improve their working approach and gain a correct understanding of CMM measurement principles.
The training is independent of the CMM brand or software used and focuses on:
- selection of the optimal number of measurement points
- correct use of touch probing and scanning strategies
- probe selection: probe type, stylus diameter, stylus length, and trade-offs between accessibility and accuracy
- correct alignment rules
- interpretation and application of GD&T according to ASME Y14.5 and ISO 1101
- validation of measurement strategies directly on the participant’s real projects
Training structure
- Duration: 3 months
- Format: 80% practice / 20% theory
- Applied training, conducted directly on the participant’s CMM parts and programs
Strong emphasis is placed on know-how transfer built through years of hands-on experience and more than 1,000 completed CMM programs.
Outcomes
At the end of the training:
- clear understanding of correct CMM measurement principles is achieved
- well-structured CMM programs are already developed based on current projects
- ability to analyze and correct externally developed CMM programs is gained
- capability to identify errors in strategy, alignment, and GD&T interpretation is developed
The training is focused on measurable results, not on generic theory.
